TIM BURTON at LACMA!
"From Beetlejuice to Batman, from Ed Wood to Willy Wonka, the characters that Tim Burton has brought to the movie screens are notable for their dark idiosyncrasies and macabre weirdness.
Burton's goth universe - at once disturbing and oddly inviting - will land at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in a major retrospective exhibition featuring artwork tied to his movies as well as original drawing, sculptures and other works created throughout his career.
The show is scheduled to run from May 29th to Oct. 31st, 2011.
The show will feature more than 700 individual pieces from Burton's own archive, as well as from studio archives and private collections of Burton's collaborators."

JAPAN BENEFIT CONCERT: Bake Sale & Silent Auction
I had a great time selling Lazy Leopard hair accessories before the show! Half of the sales proceeds have been donated to help rebuild Japan through ABC 7's Japan Fund which uses 100% of the donations towards reconstruction. Check out the event pictures below:

PARK JAM
Despite the rainy day weather report, Park Jam was nothing but all sunshine and good vibes! I was delighted to spend a nice day in the park to see many familiar faces and befriend many new ones! There was a lot of delicious & diverse food, live DJ's setting the mood to get everyone movin', live art, on-going yoga and much more!
